M&m Birthday Cake Tesco Doesn't feel too heavy or too sweet. There are many fewer m&ms on the cake than is shown on the photograph. I actually used a 9 tin and adjusted the ingredients accordingly and the cake still came out perfect. The problem i had with leah's cake, was that the m&m's dissolved in the homemade icing i made and fell off. Naked cakes, called so because they’re uncovered around the sides, are only sandwiched together with buttercream, so the better the sponge, the better the cake.
